Offer a premium experience by allowing your customers to receive their refund (in the form of store credit) the very moment they drop off the package at the post office, without waiting for it to arrive at your warehouse.

How does it work?

The system evaluates the risk of each return by assigning it a score (Score) from 0 to 100 based on the customer's history and the type of products.

  • 0: High Risk (New customer, expensive products, conflictive history).

  • 100: Low Risk (Loyal customer, standard products).

"Policy Engine" Configuration (Decision Engine)

It is the brain that decides what to do with that score.

1. Decision Thresholds (Sliders)

You can visually configure what level of trust you require to release the money automatically.

  • Automatic Approval (Green): Returns with a score higher than this limit will receive the coupon instantly.

    • Example: If you set it to 70, only very reliable customers (70-100) will have this benefit.

  • Manual Review (Yellow): Returns in this intermediate range will be paused waiting for your approval in the panel.

  • Automatic Denial (Red): (Optional) You can make the system directly reject returns with a very poor score (fraud risk).

2. Manual Mode (Policy Engine Disabled)

If you prefer to have full control at the beginning, you can leave Instant Refund enabled but disable the "Policy Engine".

Manual Mode

In this case, all returns will require your manual review, but the customer will still see the "refund upon drop-off" option as an incentive, conditional on your "OK".
