Resolution Options
Configure what solutions you offer to your customers (exchanges, refunds) and what shipping methods are allowed for each.
Resolution Types
You can independently enable or disable the 3 main ways:
Exchange Size: Highly recommended for fashion. Allows the customer to self-manage the exchange for another size of the same SKU.
Exchange for Another Item: Allows changing the product for a different one from the catalog (paying or receiving the difference).
Prefer Refund: The classic return. Within this option, there are sub-options:
Instant Refund: Store credit (Gift Card) instantly.
Discount Coupon: Normal store credit.
Original Payment Method: Return of money to the card/PayPal.
Granular Carrier Control
One of the most powerful features of ReturnsUp is that you can decide which carriers you use for each case.
When expanding any option (clicking the arrow >), you will see the list of Available Carriers.
How does it work?
Only active ones appear: In this list you will only see the carriers you have previously activated in Logistics > Carriers.
ON/OFF Switch: You can enable or disable carriers individually.
Strategic Use Example
Imagine you want to incentivize Exchanges versus Refunds:
In "Exchange Size", activate "Correos (Home Pickup)" -> You make shipping easy and convenient.
In "Money Refund", disable "Correos" and only leave "Shipping at customer's expense" -> You make the money return a bit more "frictioned" for the user, saving logistical costs on unwanted returns.
